How does TitleVision's video cache work?

Any subtitler who has tried working with video tape knows how much time is wasted winding and rewinding and searching for the right spot to place the cues.

TitleVision's video cache gets its input from a digitized video file on your hard drive, enabling you to jump back and forth between subtitles and always getting the matching frame - or jumping between frames and always getting the matching subtitle. Waiting time is eliminated.

On top of that you get the benefit of our Scene Spy that not only finds scene changes, but also fits subtitles to them - plus thumbnails of the previous six and next six frames.

Can I record the video file myself?

With TV2003 you may record directly from VCR to hard drive by means of a TV card or an external USB MPEG encoder.

Which keys are used?

On stationary PCs the numeric keypad is used.

On laptops without a numeric keypad you have to use a USB shuttle (which may of course also be used on stationary PCs)
